About the Artist
Hi, my name is Evelyn Paper, and I’m a Maryland-based artist creating realistic artwork inspired by the nature around me.
My love for nature began when I was little, taking walks with my grandfather. Those memories have stayed with me over the years and continue to inspire the way I paint today. Through my work, I capture the landscapes, florals, and little details of nature that catch my eye.

This is an original 4 × 6" oil painting on canvas of a sky and open field.
The reference photo for this painting was taken during one of my drives after work. I enjoy going for drives to relax, clear my head, and take in the beautiful scenic views around where I live. I wanted to capture one of those simple moments and turn it into a small painting.

20 × 24" original oil painting on canvas.
This painting is inspired by some of my favorite flowers I saw this summer at a local sunflower garden. I loved the colors so much that I wanted to capture them in a painting, along with a few monarch butterflies I spotted among the flowers. A little piece of the beauty summer gave me to remember.
